Landen's Final High School Game - February 19, 2022
10 Rebounds • 17 Points • 4 Blocks • 5 for 6 from the Free Throw Line
Dad is 6'7" and mom was the state basketball MVP in high school and then a four-year varsity starter for Oklahoma State University.
2021-22 Ogden High Season: In the past three years Ogden High has only won 10 games. This year they have already won eight games with seven or more games still to play. Landen's team is improving and Landen is greatly improving. His team still struggles some getting Landen the ball on offense but most teams have a guy pushing on Landen much of the game freeing up Landen's teammates to score. Landen is averaging around 8 rebounds, 2 blocks and 8 points per game. Landen can run the floor, grab rebounds and is a huge defensive presence limiting the inside scoring of opponents greatly. His commitment to working out and improving has been phenomenal... give him a few more years with his size and work ethic he could be a phenomenal player at any level.
Summer 2021: Landen is getting his legs back under him after a long road of pain from a stress fracture in his foot. He has been improving tremendously over the summer working hard on his basketball skills with Coach Danley and strength conditioning with Coach Tuatagaloa. He has recently grown another inch putting him a little over 7 feet tall in shoes.
2020: Landen had a nagging injury in my foot through his sophomore year that carried into the summer before his junior year. An MRI revealed a large hidden Navicular Stress Fracture in his foot. He had surgery in July of 2020.
Landen's junior year was hard for him and his team. He was barely cleared to run and play basketball right as the season started however he/we pushed it too hard with a very sore foot that caused other issues from overcompensating, issues like horrible Osgood-Schlatters pain in his opposite knee...
He played limited minutes in pain his junior year which was basically the last couple of games of the season.
